Blessings in a Backpack includes a minimum of the following items per child each weekend:
two protein Items | two breakfast items | two healthy snacks
Check the suggested menus, shop for items, pack items into plastic bags for distribution, contact us to coordinate drop off!

Individual meat sticks, like Jack Link's or Slim Jim (0.5–1.5oz portion)
Ready-to-eat pasta bowls, like Chef Boyardee ravioli or mac & cheese(pop-top lids required)
Ready-to-eat soup (pop-top lids required)
Sunflower seeds (1–2oz portion)
Roasted chickpeas (1–2oz portion)
Cheese cup (1–3oz portion)
Yogurt pouch, like GoGo Squeez
Tuna/chicken salad pouch
WOWBUTTER or peanut-free spread (1–3oz portion)
Hummus or bean dip (1–3oz portion)
Tuna/chicken and rice pouch, like StarKist
Beans and rice pouch, like FILLO’S or Ben's Original
Tuna/chicken with crackers, like Bumble Bee
BREAKFAST ITEMS
Individual cereal bowls or boxes (1–2oz portion)
Cereal and granola bars (1–2oz portion)
Mini muffins
Shelf-stable yogurt or milk packages (4–10oz portion)
HEALTHY SNACK ITEMS
Fruit cups or applesauce pouches
Sunflower seeds (1–2oz portion)
Individual packaged crackers, like Cheez-It, Goldfish, or animal crackers
100% fruit or veggie juice boxes or pouches
Snack-size pretzels or popcorn
Raisins or craisin packets or boxes
Granola bars, like CLIF Kid Zbar, Quaker, or Annie’s
Fig bars, like Nature’s Bakery
Dried fruit or veggie pouches
Write simple note cards with a positive message to include with our bags!
